WARRANTY

• 24 months on all original ITEC products, excluding moving parts* and consumables.
• 12 months on RCS - MIPRO - OKAYO - GROUPY products, excluding moving parts* and consumables.
• 6 months for other products or the manufacturer's warranty period, excluding moving parts* and consumables..

* moving parts = cables, controls, switches, buttons, microphones, etc.

Warranty Statement

The INTERCOM IC-1 / IC-2 & ACS is guaranteed for 24 months under the following conditions:

Authorized / accredited installers have installed and commissioned the system.

The device has not been physically damaged or exposed to water or other contaminants.

Unauthorized work/modifications on and in the device or installations by third parties will void the warranty.

The warranty is limited to replacement devices or parts and does not cover labor, travel or other costs resulting from this. Damage caused by the following is not covered by this warranty:

If the devices are handled improperly or if the devices are not used in accordance with the installation instructions.

If unauthorized third-party peripherals are connected.

If products are connected that have been modified or adapted to comply with local technical or safety standards in an area where the product was not originally approved or developed.

The warranty does not cover any modifications or adjustments, and ITEC-AUDIO SLOVENIJA is not liable for any costs resulting from such modifications or adjustments.

Limitations of warranty = speakers * moving parts = cables, controls, switches, buttons, microphones, etc..

The guarantor declares that he guarantees the properties or flawless operation during the warranty period, which begins with the delivery of the goods to the consumer. The manufacturer undertakes that, at your request, if it is submitted within the warranty period, in authorized service facilities, it will take care of the elimination of errors and technical defects of the product that would arise from correct use during the warranty period. If the product is not repaired within 45 days from the date of submission of the repair request, we will replace it with a flawless product at your request. In the event that the defective part or product is not identically replaceable, we reserve the right to replace it with at least an equivalent product. The GUARANTEE does not exclude the consumer's rights arising from the seller's responsibility for product defects. The manufacturer must guarantee, against payment, repair, maintenance of goods, spare parts and attachments for at least three years after the expiry of the warranty period by performing the service himself or by concluding a service contract with another person. Unless otherwise indicated, the warranty is valid in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. You prove the valid warranty with a confirmed original invoice.

The warranty is void in the following cases:

• if the buyer did not follow the instructions for using the product
• if the product has been tampered with by an unauthorized person 
• if the product was used in an unsuitable environment (cold, heat, humidity, dust...)  
• if the buyer handled the product unprofessionally or negligently
• if non-original parts were subsequently installed in the product
• if the buyer has not submitted an invoice or a certified warranty card
• we do not guarantee defects caused during transport after delivery, defects due to improper assembly or maintenance, mechanical defects caused by the user and defects caused by overvoltage of the electric current, force majeure, battery drain, etc.
• Parts that are subject to constant wear and tear and may wear out before the warranty period expires are excluded from the warranty.

Complaints about amplifiers, speakers:

in addition to the above, we do not accept claims for mechanically destroyed (torn) speaker membranes, blown speaker windings and tubes in amplifiers.

No amplifier protection or the speaker does not guarantee complete safety in case of overload.

Maximally open potentiometers can be the cause of overloading and thus damage.

We do not accept these damages, as well as damages caused by the MICROPHONE - FEEDBACK "LARSEN" effect.

The warranty also does not cover defects caused during transport after delivery, defects due to incorrect assembly or maintenance, mechanical defects caused by the user or are the result of normal long-term use, damage caused by overvoltage shocks (including lightning strikes), force majeure, battery drain, improper cleaning, use of improper media, etc. Parts subject to constant wear and tear (batteries, cables, mechanical damage to regulators, mechanical damage to microphones,...) are excluded from the warranty. All other connected equipment from other manufacturers that may be attached to the product are also exempt from warranty and maintenance. The supplier also does not guarantee any loss caused by product failure. We do not guarantee any damage (loss of profit, interruption of business, or other) arising from the use or inability to use the product. In the event that the warranty claim is unjustified, the buyer is obliged to settle the incurred costs. 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 

• Carefully read the instructions for use that came with your purchase.
• If you have purchased a component that needs to be installed, we recommend that you have the installation done by an authorized person.
• Use components only with compatible devices.
• Protect the component from falling, do not expose it to the sun and moisture, do not disassemble, burn or cause a short circuit. 
• Make sure the devices are placed properly and protect them from falling.
